Black Phoebe Pond is a small water hole about a quarter-mile from Kingfisher Pond. Occasionally you can find a heron or some ducks there. The cottonwoods always provide a nice Autumnal display, but it can be tricky trying to get a decent composition. I do wish there had been some clouds on this day. The solid blue skies can be boring... unless you're soaking wet somewhere up in the PacNW.
