About MeA non-Arizona native for almost 40 years, I was once a web and database designer. These days I devote all my time to my photography, capturing digital images of landscape, nature, travel, and wildlife here in Southeastern Arizona. I also photograph the better known icons of the Western United States such as the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Zion national parks. Photographing the West is my passion. My weakness is the Siren's call that periodically beckons from Hawaii, enticing me for yet another foray into paradise. |
Image ProcessingI use linux for my operating system. It doesn't have the cool / expensive programs available for Macs and Windows. The tradeoff is that I don't have to deal with all the anti-virus nonsense. All the images you see on this site were processed using the following programs:

Photo GearThis is the equipment I used to take the photos on this site. These days I mostly use the D80, D90, 18-200mm, 105mm, 80-400mm, and both flash units. Cameras
