Print Paper Types

In association with Fine Art America, DigiCaptures provides standard and framed prints on seven different types of paper. For framed prints, you may choose from 78 different colors of matte board and quality frames in dozens of different styles. We also provide gallery canvas wraps using two different types of canvas in four distinct styles. Additionally, we can print our images on archival quality museum wraps.

Two Types Of Prints
 Framed Prints:  78 different matte colors, inner and outer matting, dozens of quality frames to choose from, 1/8" clear acrylic glazing and foam core mounting
 Standard Prints:  Frameless and mattless, includes a 1" white border to allow for future matting and framing. Print is rolled in a cardboard tube for shipping.

  Premium Archival Matte Paper
 Thickness:  230 gsm / 9.5 mil
 Finish:  Matte Finish
 Details:  Long-lasting and versatile, this heavyweight matte finish paper is engineered for high contrast and crisp reproduction of high resolution images. It is acid-free for archival longevity.
 Recommended For:  Premium Archival Matte is a neutral white paper ideal for black-and-white photography and a variety of fine art applications.

  Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper
 Thickness:  250 gsm / 10 mil
 Finish:  Ultra-Gloss Finish

 Recommended For:  The neutral tone, high D-Max, and ink saturation make Epson photo papers an outstanding choice for giclee reproductions.

 Thickness:  260 gsm / 10 mil
 Finish:  Semi-Matte

Canvas Gallery Wraps
Canvas gallery wraps are the latest contemporary presentation trend. With gallery wraps, the print extends around the sides of the canvas, which is precision folded and attached to the back, not the sides, of the stretcher frame.

Specifications:
  • Finished depth: 1 1/2" (1 3/8" stretcher frame depth + 1/8" of folded canvas)
  • Only available for canvas substrates.
  • When ordered unstretched or without a frame, all canvas prints include a 2.5" white border to allow for future matting, framing, or stretching.
Two Types Of Canvas
  Bulldog Glossy Canvas
 Thickness:  450 gsm / 20.0 mil
 Finish:  Glossy Finish
 Details:  With a glossy finish formula specially designed for pigmented inks, this canvas lovingly recreates the texture and reflectivity of oils on canvas. Bulldog Glossy Canvas has a slightly warm tone and is made from an acid-free poly/cotton blend.
 Recommended For:  Great for giving photographs a fine art feel.

  Chromata Matte Canvas
 Thickness:  450 gsm / 20.5 mil
 Finish:  Matte Finish
 Details:  The texture and weight of this canvas brings fine art reproductions one step closer to the originals, while the matte finish gives them a softness that invites attention. Chromata Matte Canvas has a bright white tone and is made from an acid-free poly/cotton blend.
 Recommended For:  Great for fine art reproductions.

Four Distinct Styles
 No Wrap:  Your canvas is rolled in a cardboard tube for shipping.
 Black Sides:  A classic black edge is added to your image (1.5" stretcher bars).
 White Sides:  A clean white edge is added to your image (1.5" stretcher bars).
 Continuous Mirrored Image:  The outer 1.75" edge of your image is mirrored on the wrap (1.5" stretcher bars).
 
Museum Wrap
Your image is printed on real canvas, stretched over all-wood linen liners for archival quality, turning them into a painterly, fine-art quality masterpiece. The distinctive subtle texture of canvas adds interest and intrigue to ordinary photos, stretching your canvas blurs even further the line between photographic image and fine art!
